Elizabeth Fadel

Brazilian pianist Elizabeth Fadel has developed a career in Brazil performing concerts in classical and Brazilian music, as a soloist or with orchestras. During her studies, she had the honor of learning with Olga Kiun, Evgeny Izotov, Henriqueta Garcez Duarte, and Anna Yarovaia. While studying classical piano, she also studied Music Therapy. She played piano, harpsichord, and organ for two years with the Camerata Antiqua de Curitiba orchestra.

Elizabeth also worked in Brazil for three years as a teacher and pianist at the Conservatory of Brazilian Music in Curitiba. In 2007, she toured with the famous clarinetist Paulo Moura. Before moving to Europe, she recorded the album “Divertimento” with Daniel Migliavacca, which received rave reviews. In 2010, she moved to The Hague to study harpsichord at the Royal Conservatory with Jacques Ogg. She currently teaches piano at the choro school EPM Holanda in Rotterdam and has projects with bands performing Brazilian Jazz and forró.

Elizabeth will contribute to the cultural element of our festival with a special music workshop. We can’t wait for it!
